Build the daily routine around the exact machine manual: inspect accessible conditions, keep a run record, and isolate before cleaning or opening guards. Daily observations complement scheduled service rather than replace it.

What to have ready
Keep the operating manual, approved cleaning tools, inspection sheet and the required isolation equipment available. Lubricants, tools and personal protection must follow the site procedure and equipment instructions.
Before starting
- Confirm that the last service action has been closed out.
- Check guards and accessible external condition as specified by the manual.
- Confirm that the material routes and collection points are ready.
- Record the batch and relevant starting conditions.
During the run
Observe from the normal guarded operating position. Record new noise, vibration, feed interruptions, protection events and unusual temperature trends. Stop when warning signs or the equipment procedure require it.
After stopping and isolation
Follow the machine’s cleaning procedure. Inspect the permitted access points and record damage or build-up. Escalate conditions outside the operator’s training rather than improvising a repair.

Frequency and common mistakes
